What is the match format?

The main 5v5 ladder uses MR12: up to 12 rounds per half, with 13 round wins needed to win. At 12:12, MR3 overtime is played, with three rounds per side. Another tie leads to another overtime.

How long is a round in CS 1.6?

A round lasts 105 seconds, or 1:45. Freeze time is 10 seconds, and the bomb explodes 35 seconds after being planted.

Who needs to type ready?

Every player types /ready or !ready after joining the server. Connecting does not mean being ready. The captain cannot confirm readiness for the whole team.

The website shows connection and actual player readiness separately. Accepting the match on the website before veto is a separate step from being ready to start on the game server.

Where do we choose the map and starting side?

Choose the map and starting CT/T side during the website veto. The match uses that selection when you join the server; there is no knife round.

How do I request a timeout?

Each team has three tactical timeouts of 60 seconds for the entire match. The limit covers both halves and overtime; switching sides does not reset it.

The captain types !pause or /pause to request a timeout without a vote. The same command from another player opens a team voting menu. A majority must vote yes.

The timeout starts at a round boundary, not in the middle of combat, and ends automatically after 60 seconds.

What should I do after losing connection?

Return to the assigned server with the same Steam account. Check the match page for your reconnect status and remaining time.

After abandoning a match, you receive no positive ELO from a team win. A loss can still reduce your ELO.

How do I download a demo and how long is it available?

Download the demo from the finished match’s page. Anyone can download it, including guests. After the game ends, wait for the download button to appear.

The demo is available for 14 days after publication. Afterwards, you will see “Demo expired”. If there is no recording, the page shows “No demo for this match”.

Why is the match coverage delayed?

The website radar and events show the match with a 90-second delay. The displayed positions and timer refer to the same delayed moment in the game.
