The Cologne 2026 Major Hub arrived in CS2 on May 21. Alongside the Viewer Pass and Pick’Em Challenge, the May–June patches changed inventory handling, tournament shopping and spectator effects.
Major Hub and Souvenir trade-ups
The Viewer Pass introduced an upgradeable Cologne coin and a leaderboard for comparing Pick’Em results with friends. Valve also allowed Souvenir weapons in Trade Up Contracts alongside ordinary items. Using them removes their Souvenir attributes; the output is a normal item of the next quality tier from one of the input collections.
On May 28, the Major Shop gained sticker bookmarks. The June 10 update added the lowest and highest sticker price from the previous seven days, plus a sticker showcase on the main-menu Major tile.
Inventory and spectator improvements
Storage Units received multi-select for depositing and retrieving items on June 10. Full inventories now produce an appropriate error when claiming Weekly Care Packages, Armory items or Major Shop purchases.
The May 28 patch added r_spectator_flashbang_opacity for remote spectators and moved their flashbang effect behind the HUD. Ancient received clipping changes to block selected boosts; Sanctum was updated from the Workshop.
The closing tournament update
On June 30, Valve added Falcons champions’ autograph stickers and Highlight Souvenir Charms, covering ten moments from each of the Major’s six stages and the trophy lift. This article records those releases as part of the archive; it is not a notice that the tournament shop is still open.
